23-year-old male jumped from the bridge at the height 40 meters to the Dnepr river in Zaporozhie. He was not injured severely.
This incident occurred in the centre of Zaporozhie yesterday. According to doctors, 90 percents of these jumps lead to death.
“The resident of Zaporozhie, born in 1984 jumped from the Preobrazhenskiy bridge at 01:00 p.m. At 01:15 p.m. rescuers took the male out of the river and sent him into the city external medicine center”, told the Emergency Ministry officials. According to the chief of medical catastrophes department at this centre Yuri Babencko, the state of male’s health is not dangerous for his life.
“As a result of fall male was not injured severely: doctors state he had only lung injury and heart injury”, explained Babencko.
