The Communist party demands to investigate abuse by Viktor Yushchenko, Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuri Yekhanurov when they had been taking up the post of Premier. The leader of the Communist party of Ukraine (CPU) Peter Simonenko declared about it, press-service of CPU reports.

He demands to investigate “violation of 22^nd article of Constitution and abuse” by Yushchenko, Tymoshenko and Yekhanurov “concerned with refusal to finance the privileged categories of population when they had been heading the Cabinet”.

Simonenko considers “Constitutional court made decision that cancellation of “law on privileges” by suspending its financing from the national budget was inadmissible. Thus Constitutional court confirmed legality of accusation addressed at acting President. The Communist party accused Yushchenko in 2000 when Kuchma appointed him as the head of government”.

CPU leader stressed “Premier Yushchenko began to realize a tradition to refuse from financing privileges for war veterans, labor veterans, invalids, people who need care of state. He began to do it referring to the lack of means in budget”.

“At that time in 2000 on the initiative of Premier Yushchenko and his government whose government was headed by Tymoshenko payments were suspended for the privileged categories of people”, said Symonenko.

“Thus Hr 13 bn had been taken away from the pockets of poor people during 2000”, he added.

Simonenko declared “the nest governments headed by both Tymoshenko and Yekhanurov did not refuse from cancellation of “law on privileges”.
